KTL Performance Mortgage is currently hiring for the following positions:
The Administrative Assistant role is an entry-level position designed to provide broad support to both the Origination and Processing teams at KTL Performance Mortgage. This role is intended as a stepping stone, offering exposure to various aspects of the mortgage process. The primary goal is to identify the individual’s strengths and interests, ultimately guiding them toward a more specialized position, such as a Loan Originator or Loan Processor.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
- Communicating with current clients via phone, email, text message, and other methods.
- Following up on leads received from various lead generation sources. This follow-up may include cold calls, emails, text messages, and other methods.
- Reviewing, compiling, and verifying loan documents.
- Ordering 3rd party services and verifications.
- Providing professional, clear, and timely communication with clients, third-party vendors, realtors, title/settlement agents, loan originators, and loan processors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

This position is located at our Greenville, Ohio office.
The Loan Originator Assistant will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of a Senior Loan Officer, assisting with all facets of the loan origination process. It is the ideal position for a motivated and eager individual to learn the mortgage industry with the end goal of becoming a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.
The Loan Originator Assistant is an entry-level position.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support to Senior Loan Originator.
- Generating complete and accurate mortgage applications.
- Following up with clients via phone, email, text message, and other methods.
- Pulling, reviewing, and analyzing credit reports.
- Reviewing, compiling, and verifying loan documents.
- Conducting professional, clear and timely communication with clients, 3rd party vendors, realtors, title/settlement agents, loan officers, and loan processors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

The Loan Processor ensures the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by loan originators. They obtain and verify necessary information and prepare documents for underwriting and closing. The Loan Processor communicates loan status and progress with all involved parties, including Performance Mortgage Loan Originator, buyer, seller, realtor, title company representatives, and other involved parties. The Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring that every loan meets all regulatory, program, and Investor guidelines.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing, compiling, and verifying loan documents.
- Preparing preliminary mortgage disclosures.
- Ordering 3rd party documents, services, and verifications, and reviewing all documents to ensure complete and accurate information is contained within the file before submission to underwriting.
- Professional, clear, and timely communication with clients, 3rd party vendors, realtors, title/settlement agents, loan officers, and loan processors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain effective and professional business relationships with realtors, clients, and other parties involved in the mortgage loan transaction.
- Review and clear all underwriting and closing conditions.
- Prioritize and monitor daily workflow in order to ensure all loans are being worked on effectively and efficiently. Perform continuous re-prioritization of client files based upon business demands amid multiple requests from various entities.
- Prepare files for closing and schedule closings with all involved parties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Loan Processors are expected to begin the process of obtaining their loan originator license after being hired.
Performance Mortgage is looking to expand into new market areas in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida. We are looking for Remote Loan Officers/Mortgage Loan Originators who are active in areas that we don’t currently target. The right individual for this position will be driven, self-motivated, and have previous experience in the mortgage industry.
The Mortgage Loan Officer/Loan Originator (LO) proactively solicits new and repeat residential mortgage business. A key contributor to success for any loan originator is the ability to effectively establish referral relationships with other industry professionals, including realtors, title agents, insurance agents, etc.
The principle responsibility of the LO is to work with prospective homebuyers to determine the best product and terms for each client’s unique situation.
The LO is responsible for generating a complete and accurate mortgage application, pulling and reviewing credit, running files through automated underwriting systems, and issuing pre-approvals. The LO stays in contact with customers during the home search or refinance process and works closely with customers until they close their loan. They are required to clearly communicate loan terms, fees, and disclosures, ensuring the client thoroughly understands the loan product and the loan process. For clients that are not able to be approved, the LO is expected to provide personalized advice and counselling on the specific steps that the client can take to get pre-approved in the future.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prospecting new mortgage lending opportunities and recommending the best mortgage products based on the customer’s individual needs.
- Developing new business through contacts with realtors, title agents, insurance agents, and other lines of business referrals.
- Demonstrating a complete understanding of loan products
- Ensuring exceptional customer experience by overseeing loan process from origination to close and providing on-going communication to customers and business partners.
- Generating complete and accurate mortgage applications.
- Pulling, reviewing, and analyzing credit reports.
- Submitting files through automated underwriting systems including eFannie and GUS, and working within those systems to obtain approvals.
- Reviewing preliminary disclosures with clients and clearly communicating loan terms.
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 Years experience in mortgage industry
- Highly motivated and self-starter.
- Proven and documented record of success in mortgage sales.
- Well versed in consultative selling; ability to generate new business sales, retain existing business, and to close sales.
- Knowledge of mortgage products and loan documentation.
- Must have current and relevant mortgage lending experience, knowledge of FHA, Conventional, USDA, VA, and non-conforming loans.

The Loan Process Administrator is an entry-level position that performs administrative functions related to the home loan process.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing, compiling, and verifying loan documents.
- Ordering 3rd party services and verifications.
- Professional, clear, and timely communication with clients, 3rd party vendors, realtors, title/settlement agents, loan officers, and loan processors in a professional and courteous manner.

This position provides a clear advancement path to the Loan Processor position. The goal is for the Loan Process Administrator to quickly become proficient in the position with the ability to grow into the Loan Processor role within 3 to 6 months. Ideal candidates will have the desire to grow their skillset and workload.
Loan Process Administrators will be expected to begin the process of obtaining their loan originator license after a 90-day orientation period.
