John Heath is a native of Delaware County, Indiana, and was raised in the Cowan area along with his three brothers and one sister. He credits much of his success to his early childhood years, being surrounded by a loving immediate and extended family.
In the mid 1970s, John moved to Colorado where he sold Real Estate for two years before moving back to the Muncie area. Once back in the Midwest, John began a career in retail that would span three decades. He quickly progressed through the ranks, holding positions in company loss prevention, store management, and multi-store management.
In 2007, John decided to switch gears and began his career in the mortgage industry, joining KTL Performance Mortgage as a Loan Officer. He dedicated himself to learning the trade and in 2009 he became a co-owner of KTL Performance Mortgage along with his partners Desteni Mason and Kristina Heath.
John believes that “what separates KTL Performance Mortgage from the rest of the industry is our teamwork, our relentless work ethic, and our desire to always do the right thing in order to help people realize their dreams of homeownership.”
