Leah Dumas built her career on resilience, hard work, and a passion for helping others. Before joining the mortgage industry, she spent over a decade in customer service, including five years in the dental industry and many more as a server and bartender. These roles honed her skills in empathetic communication, multitasking, and problem-solving, which now serve her well as she works with homebuyers through the process of financing their homes.
Leah joined the KTL Performance Mortgage team in 2016 as an assistant to her sister and KTL co-founder Desteni Mason. After several years of learning the industry, Leah transitioned into being a Mortgage Loan Originator and working exclusively with her own clients. Her dedication and adaptability also propelled her to the KTL Executive Leadership Team, where she contributes to the strategic management and direction of the KTL organization.
As an NMLS-licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, Leah finds her greatest fulfillment in helping clients understand and improve their credit. The daughter of a hard-working single father, Leah learned early on the value of perseverance. She applies this tenacity to her professional career and never gives up on her clients. Leah takes special pride in assisting those who never thought homeownership was within their reach, guiding them toward achieving their dreams.
In addition to her professional achievements, Leah is deeply involved in her community. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville, Business Professional Women (BPW), and the Greenville Elks Lodge, and volunteers with various organizations. As the current President-Elect of the Rotary Club, she is excited to step into the role of President in 2026.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, spending time with family, and serving others. Leah, her husband Stephen, daughters Gabby and Belah, and dog Hazel enjoy visiting new places, eating great food, softball, and family game night.

Fun Fact: Leah is a gamer! In her free time, she loves playing video games, especially Fortnite.
