Maria Hathaway has built her career on adaptability, empathy, and a passion for helping others. She got her start in automotive sales, where she discovered how rewarding it was to help people through new chapters in their lives. Her curiosity about the business side of sales then led her to a role as a Cash Administrator, where she developed a keen eye for financial details.
Ultimately, Maria’s desire to work closely with people and guide them toward achieving their dreams brought her to KTL Performance Mortgage in 2024. As a Loan Processor, Maria works with homebuyers on their path to homeownership. She guides them through the loan process, working as an intermediary between the loan officer, client, underwriter, real estate agents, and title agents.
Maria finds joy in meeting people from all walks of life and helping them achieve their goal of becoming homeowners. Her ability to embrace change, her empathy for others’ unique circumstances, and her diligence in catching even the smallest details make her a valued member of the KTL team. Additionally, Maria holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management.
Outside of work, Maria is actively involved with the Darke County Community Theater and enjoys expressing her creative side through art and singing. She recently developed a love of bird-watching and has begun quite a bird feeder collection. Bird-watching was a hobby Maria immersed herself in to entertain her cats, but quickly fell in love with herself! In her downtime, she enjoys relaxing with a good video game.
